Lodge Averon866 Annual Charity Golf Texas Scramble 2015

Once again our annual charity golf texas scramble went down a storm, with 14 teams playing.

This is a superb turn out and resulted in raising £1578 for the Alness Rock Challenge kids. This takes the total raised this year to over £2000 for a very worth while cause.

The weather was again very kind to us for the whole day with a cloudless sky and the whole field had a tremendous day, with the ever present  Bro’s Ali Ross, Duncan Munro and Jim Hunter out in the mobile bar keeping every one topped up and entertained. Ali reports this is by far the best part of the whole thing, the crack was endless.

Many thanks once again must go to our sponsors MGM Timber, McDougal Plant Hire and Diageo for contributing to the main prizes. Thanks must also go to all the local business that supported us. Alness Home Stores, Morrison’s, Jupps, The Bengal, Glamorous, The commercial Hotel, Dalmore Furnishing, Kardz, Billy Munros and the Station Hotel to name but a few. These guys continue to help us despite the economics and increasing charity requests being placed on them. Lets repay them brethren, pay them a visit soon.
